You can see why! Stunning classic architecture, plenty of parks around, a few block to the Atlantic Ocean & beach. Fabulous. AND, I always pick up a simply remembrance from the wonderfully stocked gift shopt.

Typical of historical sites, you step into a place with placards explaining this or that, a gift shop and events occasionally taking place. Two events stand out. The outdoor weekend "walk-in" movie, and the Christmas choir are great.

Very interesting place and the tours are very informative. If you don't know, this was the Rockerfelle'rs summer home and is used for a lot of local events. If you have a day of exploring, stop by and see for yourself all the history there.

For a free look into the history of Ormond Beach, this is a great place to start. The Rockefeller's influence on the area is explained and in a consise way.
