The Tomoka river goes through the park, allowing for great scenery and fishing. Bird watching, and keep an eye out for gators. The Loop is part of this, so be aware or motorcycles! The ocean is along one of the exits. Places along the way to picnic or kayak (bring your own) Have fun!

Spent two days in our travel trailer---park situated on the Intercoastal waterway---Kayaking, canoeing, fishing available---short hiking trail and the huge Indian statue at the end of the trail. Park store has the supplies you may have forgotten--also the renting is handled there as well. Most campsites are small--very dusty during our stay, although that didn't hinder our visit. Roads are... More

My 15 year old son and I visited the park yesterday just for a couple of hours. We will be back in the near future to spend more time. They have kayak and canoe rentals available as well as campsites. They also have a little outpost with some basic necessities including pet food if you run out ;-) There are... More

Just your average state park. Nothing exciting to see. They have camping grounds here, hiking trails, the statue at the end as revealed in my picture, fishing spots, a route to go boating on, and a place to rent kayaks and canoes. Also, you have to pay an admission fee up front. The activities you can do here are fun--especially... More

Decided to do some camping. It's been a long time since boy scouts 30 years ago. We had camp site 38 and tent camped. Had a great time. They keep up the public restrooms / bath housed really well. There is a nice boat launch in the park, and plenty of water ways to explore. The park closes at sunset... More

roads are a little rough getting in. Not much to do in park unless you camp, hike or fish. The statue at the end needs to be refurbished. The waterfall doesn't work. Scenery was good going to entering and leaving park

This is a very busy campground on the weekend. The restrooms are ok. The sites are nice, but the road has LOTS of bumps (would be nice if the roads were smoothed out. It is a long walk to the camp store, so you should drive or ride bikes. If you kayak, there are lot of places to go out.

We have camped at many Florida State parks and Tomoka is a really good one. The park is small, but the camp sites are shaded and private. The staff from the rangers at the gate to the young couple that run the camp store are all super friendly. We will be returning guests.

We rented a canoe for a relaxing 2 hour outing. Dolphins, a deer and eagles were among the residents that checked us out.
