I almost missed this hidden gem at Animal Kingdom. Watch for the Gorilla Falls signs as you exit the Safari Ride. Wonderful views of the endangered colobus monkey, meerkats, naked mole rats, tropical birds, and underwater hippo! But, the stars are the gorillas (both the...More

This is a great place to see gorillas up close. Do this early in your day before it gets too warm and they go to sleep - they are far more active early morning. Brilliant opportunity to see these amazing creatures

Take a nice stroll at your own pace to see animals in their habitat. I could have stayed watching the meerkats all day! Some of the animals were sleeping in the shade and a bit difficult to find. There were several knowledgeable guides on hand...More

Really beautiful walk/trails - this is not quite a zoo, but involves a litlte more hiking, and the animals seem more at home than in a zoo. There is a lot to see, but the highlight is definitely the gorilla family unit.

This was such an unexpectedly enjoyable part of our trip. The animals here are amazing and the Disney-expense is impressive and something many zoos and sanctuaries should aspire too. The Gorillas were by far the most impressive part of the trail as they were extremely...More

This is a beautiful mostly shaded walk. You can see tigers and Komodo dragons. Very neat. There was a lot of debris due to the hurricane that had just past through, but I was shocked at how much Disney was able to clean up in...More

This is a self-guided, laid back tour that is worth taking the time to walk through. We experienced gorillas, hippos, numerous birds, etc. Don't rush past this one!

This is must-see almost every time. The gorillas are almost always active to some degree and often times VERY active. With male and female adults and usually a youngster (or two or three), there is always something going on and if you watch for a...More
