Fantastic Trail!
May 2020 • Friends
We finally got around to go rollerblading in the trail and it was awesome. The trail was perfectly maintained, though the water fountains were shut off due to COVID-19. Still, it was a gorgeous day spent in great company.

Nice, Long, Bike Ride
Sep. 2018 • Couples
Rode our bikes on the full loop of 16 miles on this asphalt, well-maintained trail, through neighborhoods, by the Little Econ (aka Econlockhatchee) River, dams, a couple of parks Spanish moss-laden trees, and birds and crocodiles galore. There are water fountains and benches for rest stops, but I would suggest wearing a hat anyway as there is not much shade. Parking, among other options, is out on the streets at the western end, as well as at parking areas in Jay Blanchard Park.

Nice and smooth bike ride
Mar. 2018 • Friends
My fiance and I previously biked this trail and I've since returned with a friend to which we can all say that the bike ride was smooth and breezy. It also helps when the weather cooperates but all in all, nice ride with a good moderate workout.

Great Stroll
Mar. 2018 • Friends
I enjoyed the morning walk we took last month as there was an abundance of wildlife, especially birds. Peaceful and very laidback place.

Great morning jog
Dec. 2015 • Family
I loved going to this park to jog on mornings while on vacation. The scenery is beautiful! Although it was a bit cold since we are in winter the sun made it the perfect temperature to exercise in!

All Sorts of trails around here

Not listed on Tripadvisor is Little Big Econ State Forest .... bring a map if you plan to go off the main trail (or a gps better than the typical google one on your phone) .... but even if you do get lost (which is easy to do on these poorly marked trails) you never lose cell signal. GREAT Mountain Biking, easy trails that are very pretty.
The Little Econ Greenway is an easier cruiser trail not in the same location.

Walk, run or bicycle - give this beautiful trail a try!
May 2015 • Couples
This paved pathway follows the Little Econ River not far from downtown Orlando. There is lots of shade, picnic pavilions, water fountains, benches, ball fields, playgrounds and restrooms along this trail. Parking can be found at several lots along the way, the easiest to find would be at Jay Blanchard Park off of Dean Road, north of East Colonial Drive.

I love the early morning and evening hours - it's a bit cooler and great way to start or end a busy day.

There are plenty of opportunities to view a wide variety of birds, including songbirds, eagles and wading birds. I've also seen turtles, otters and gators. You can come to a level path to do a workout. You can also bring a book or a camera and enjoy any number of shady & scenic spots along the slow moving & shallow Little Econ.
