A good friend and I enjoyed a nature walk just outside of Lake Buena Vista. Having spent a few days shopping and Disney, we needed a quiet day. Lovely trails, easily accessible to all levels of hikers and includes a boardwalk and water over look. A cute nature Center and clean bathrooms. I would suggest a visit to this park... More

Nice trails for hiking and biking. Not far from Disney so a good natural break if you want "real" nature. Very quiet. Easy, level traisl.

I have been here several times and keep coming back. Always something to see and great teaching opportunity to children. Only 4 miles from Vinland- Apopka Road, it is a great place to hike and enjoy natural Florida. You can also visit Darwin the very large turtle and relax in rocking chairs on the covered porches. Free entrance!

This is a nice place for a walk. And it has some good photographic opportunities. The trails are well marked. We saw raccoons, gopher tortoises, rat snakes, several different kinds of mushrooms, just to name a few things. We'll be back to walk the trails again. I recommend wearing shoes, rather than sandals. Some of trails are sandy. Washrooms at... More

This is a great park that has lots of trails throughout. There is a visitor center, bathrooms by the entrance of the trails. There is also at the main entrance of the trails behind the welcome center there is a log in sheet for keeping track of people on the trails, just don't forget to sign back in. There is... More

A great place to follow the trails, and enjoy the peace in a usually chaotic city. Not too much on wildlife when we were there but even the vegetation was interesting. Trails were easy enough to manage, even for beginners. I did them all but my mom (in her 70s) skipped the most advanced, more because of a fear there... More

These are some of the best trails we've done in Florida. I love that they are mostly covered by trees, so you are not walking around in the full Florida sun. They are not strenuous as we did all of the trails in one day and didn't feel tired (I believe we walked about 4 miles total, but you can... More

If you are looking for a breather from Disney and the parks this is a good place. As nature preserves go it is average. Trails are wide but there is little information about what you are seeing.. And you are seeing mostly plants. We saw no wildlife, not even birds. That probably varies by time of day or season. One... More

I arrived at 315pm... there was a couple and their daughter out front of the main building... other than them I saw one other person walking the trails. The sense of peacefulness was a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the parks. The trails are not very long but they work as a small escape from reality. I... More
