i didn't know much about this place before going, I just wanted some art and some quiet time to reflect and absorb t. The staff were helpful and friendly, ended up showing me around the old home just to tell me it's story. I then slowly walked around and enjoyed the exhibitions. One is a permanent collection from the Menello... More

Trees, flowers, sculptures and easy to walk paths for everyone with a leased dog or a stroller or an elderly family member. A lovely place with free and easy parking, right in downtown Orlando. What more could you want? I look forward to returning once the walking paths to the other parks are completed.

staff informed us of an impending wedding and when outside we did almost trip over the team preparing the outdoor venue. there was just enough to be interesting and not so much that you become overwhelmed with images and facts and I really enjoyed both the artworks and the informative and imaginative way it was presented

I love the Mennello Museum. It's a very small museum that, along with the Orlando Museum of Art, is seemingly tucked away from the excess of theme park tourism. Part of the museum houses the works of St. Augustine folk artist, Earl Cunningham, many of which are scenes on Florida's waterways painted in bright colors that look almost like Day-Glo... More

We stumbled on to this museum by accident. And boy did we get lucky. Small but well worth the $5.00 ($4 for it's great to be a senior rate). 3 American artists were featured inside the museum: Cunningham, Sorensen & Butterfield. We were not familiar with these American artists but we are now! Loved the sculpture work of Alice Aycock... More

This may be a great "first" art museum visit for children. Because it's small (like their attention spans), the interior visit can be accomplished fairly quickly. They often have hands-on experiences for children (check their schedule for Family Days) and the concept of Folk Art is often easier for children to grasp. A big bonus is the lack of a... More

Very engaging albeit small museum. Outstanding outdoor sculptures and grounds. Very relaxing and beautiful layout. Well worth the $5.00 admission cost. Very warm welcome by the front desk (Beverly is awesome and informative). Nice selection of PopArt and information on the museum's founders. Would like to have viewed more artists but really enjoyed the pieces that were presented.

We visited the Menello to see the exhibition of American Pop Art on loan from the Museum of Modern Art in New York. While limited in scope, it was a treat to see the well known pieces from Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein, Jasper Johns and others. This show runs until Aug. 14, 2016. If you are into American Pop Art,... More

What a beautiful place and parking is next to the museum in a garage. Place was laid out nice for the kids with food and dessert vendors. There were arts and crafts, puppet shows, bounce houses, puzzles and my sons personal favorite were all the drums. We had a great time.

This a great, cute museum with interesting American Art. They have a large holding of Earl Cunningham's works. It's a small two room museum with a nominal entry fee (less than $10, I think). The taxi ride from the convention center was $40. However, it was worth it -- I like supporting community museums and the Orlando Museum of Art... More
