Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Took my niece. Awesome experience. Something for everyone. Where comfy shoes. This place is huge. Bring a poncho or umbrella because I’m we weren’t expecting rain but it rained half the time. Thank God I had an umbrella. All in all, I enjoyed myself. Oh…the wait times are ridiculous. If you really want to enjoy your time minus the hassle of standing in the standard lines and squeezes up with people… I strongly recommend the lightening pass. It’s worth it. You get to do more in a day especially if you just got the one day pass. Get it with lightening. Trust me.
There are thousands of people. Please protect yourself with sanitizer masks. Am paranoid after having COVID so just prepare yourself. May be wise to wear a hat and some clothes that are light because it’s humid. You will sweat.

Not been for years, but all the happy memories came flooding back when I visited with my own children. It really does have 'magical' vibes and my children loved all of the rides. I would recommend either going early to avoid queues or purchasing fastpasses for the day on the genie plus disney experience app. The only slight negative I'd say was the enchanted firework display was crazily busy and I actually preferred the Epcot show! Can't wait to come back to the magic Kingdom in the future.

Found we spent more time on our mobile phones and bumping into people on theres. The parks were really clean and the staff were polite. The water they charge should be cheaper, and the parking charges are a complete rip off.

Firstly, Disney is synonymous with Orlando Florida; you can't come to Orlando and not go to Disney and I feel to some extent, this is now being traded on, as the Disney parks don't seem to be innovating as much as the Universal parks are.
We visited here in peak August with our teenage sons and as such, it was very busy and incredibly hot. However, Disney don't seem to accommodate for this. The distance from the car park to the park is incredibly long; Universal provide covered walkways with fans/air con/conveyor belts and it feels like a pleasant experience. There is literally no shade or support from the car parks (or at least there wasn't when we arrived at 8:30am. To top this off, the monorail also wasn't working, so we had to get a coach and this meant another long walk at the other end.
Even when in the parks, there is no getting away from the heat, as there are limited covered or shadey areas other than inside shops or in indoor queues.
We managed to do quite a lot; Runaway Train, Pirates Of The Caribbean, 4d theatre experience, Small World, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Riverboat Cruise and Monsters Inc Comedy show. However, the bigger rides were 2-3 hours queue time, so we weren't able to get on Space Mountain (which actually was also closed for the hour before we left) or Splash Mountain.
The shops and food are all incredibly expensive. For a family of 4, lunch cost me almost 100 dollars, which is ridiculous for fast food. That being said, all of the parks are the same, so this isn't a Disney-specific gripe.
The parade was fun, however it was severely delayed and again, no shelter from the intense heat, so our kids didn't really enjoy it.
It's a shame but we probably won't return to Disney - it feels a little old-fashioned now (the Haunted Mansion is exactly the same as it was 20 years ago, as is Small World) and whilst it is still probably very magical for young children, there is little in the way of keeping the magic alive for the adults.

I’ve been the Magic Kingdom in the 90s,00s,10s and 20s. This was (sadly) the worst visit. Compared to other Disney parks it’s showing it’s age. Most queues are long and outside. Lightening lanes cost $$$. Access to the park is slow and ponderous. Park up, then trolley, then monorail or boat. Long queues for these. Other Disney parks are better along with Universal or even some UK and European parks. Sadly. But inevitable I guess.

We visited various sites inside this park like Splash, Thunder and Space Mountain. It was really amazing that one can visit many locations in very small amount of time.

It has absolutely right name; it is really magical. When I was a child, I visited it last time, since now I feel same feelings when I think and go to the park.

Great afternoon had by all, but only because we were fortunate to buy the Genie plus option.
Managed to ride Space Mountain, Mine train, Speedway, Jungle Cruise & Aladdin Carpets.
Pirates of the Caribbean was a bit naff & cheesy, but still worth doing.
Stayed for the fireworks which were lovely.

Is there anybody to have 5 tickets for 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th of July to the Magic Kingdom? We are from Europe here, just for Disneyland and so so sad that can not buy tickets yet.

Buenos días a todos. Mi esposo y yo estamos próximos a viajar a Orlando Florida, es nuestra primera vez. Quisiera saber que parque es mejor mágic kingdom o epcot. Y quisiera saber si magic tiene atracciones para adultos. Gracias.

Post pandemic 2022 is it still possible to buy a 1 day/2 day Park Hopper ticket for Disneyworld or Universal Studios? So much else to see & do in Orlando don't want to tie up our time and money on 7 day get 14 day ticket. Have been many times before the kiddies came along but really only want to go to MK & AK. Thank you.

Honestly, i’m not sure. I certainly seen ‘day passes’ at the ticket offices and i’m sure there must be something in place. One thing I do know is that for Disney, you have to book your theme parks in advance (Covid numbers etc). You need to download the Disney app and it is essentially your diary. I think you can park hop eventually, but not until after 2pm. With Covid restrictions getting lighter this again could change.

Hi,
It's our first time visiting Disney and we are wondering if the options to get around the parks (bus, monorail etc) are all free? We are not staying on site.
Thanks

Hi, if you are not staying on site, you will either need to use your own car or your hotel shuttle (assuming they have one) to get to the park on the day that you already have a reservation. I was just there in December and saw where some people actually used Uber service to the park. Once you arrive, you may use the Disney transportation system (bus, monorail, ferry boat); it is free but some transports can't be used to get you directly to each park. For example, you can use the monorail to take you to the following stops: Magic Kingdom park and about 4 different resorts. If you desire to go to any other parks you will need to get off at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) stop and transfer; e.g., you will need to transfer to the Epcot Monorail to get to Epcot.
The water transportation system (boat and ferryboat service) works similarly by providing service to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Disney Springs and select WDW resorts. Certain destinations are not direct and you’ll need to take a connecting mode of transportation to reach your final destination.
Whichever mode you choose to use, please check the times of service and plan accordingly. Most are available about 30 minutes prior to park opening and stop operating about one hour after park closing. Enjoy your visit!

Face masks only required on transportation but not in the parks.
No autographs! Meet and greets are only allowed with 6 foot distance . Characters are behind ropes or too far away. Not all characters are visible either. Only a select few.
