This is located on the north side of 527 (Princeton Street) just to the east of I-4. There are some surface parking lots or a parking garage across the street for a fee. My visit cost me about $15 for parking but allowed for a 3rd-floor entrance into the Science Center. The cost for tickets was about $25/person with discounts for lots of groups (Senior, AAA, Veteran, etc). The staff was very nice throughout the center. There is a lot to see and the Cinedome (Imax-type) movies are included with the tickets on a space-available basis. There is a lot to see and most of it is focused on children and the curious. This latest visit had a makerspace called the Hive, a dinosaur exhibit, an earth/space area, a kinetic zone, and an art exhibit. I got to see the movie Journey to Space about the space shuttle. Each of the areas had a lot of hands-on parts for people to experience science, physics and mental/physical acuity. There was a lot to do and see. Overall, it was a lot of fun and I highly recommend it for visitors to the area.

It is a great place to take kids, we went on Presidents day so the place was full of families. The movies are a great thing to do for adults and kids, but most of the attractions are really designed for kids. Be aware, parking is not cheap in the garage (our bill was $15 for about 3 hours).

Interesting science museum with highly educational content especially for children and teenagers of school and high school age.
A well-studied path leads to exploring various areas of Science with many interactive activities.
Very interesting the Life section with the reconstruction of various environments and natural habitats.
The Kinetc Zone allows direct verification of certain physical and kinematic phenomena
Much appreciated by young visitors is the DinoDigs entirely dedicated to the world of dinosaurs.

This Museum seems to take the best aspects of a few different scientific touch museums I have been to and combine them all into one trip. Definitely worth spending the entire day at! Super friendly staff just an incredible place to spend a day. Great coffee as well

As far as science museums go, this one was pretty lame, IMO. But I'm used to educational displays and such.
This one was clean and spacious and there were lots of activities for kids—which is very cool. And it is indeed hands-on as advertised! It's just ... full of simple puzzles and childish riddles and the sort of little experiments you do at home for your 1st grade science fair. Nothing real complex or truly educational?
Odd experience. Once is plenty.

It was a great place to get the kids out of the storm, and do something fun and interactive. My 10 yr old and I loved the Spy exhibit, and spent a lot of time there! My youngest liked the dinosaur exhibit and the hurricane chamber. My 12 yr old was bored unfortunately, and he loves science. There were so many kids there for field trips, and the rest of the exhibits were underwhelming.

Perfect fun and learning for our three year old. He absolutely loved all the different hands on activities and was running from room to room to discover more. Only slight criticism would be the cost of parking ($8).

We were there 3 hours with our four year old and more or less had to drag her away.
The ‘kids’ floor was really engaging for her. So much interactivity, and everything was clean and worked as intended. On top of that I loved how ‘alive’ the centre felt, with different daily talks and events, as well as staff members just dotted around with little activities for the guests to come and interact with at their leisure.
Honestly, one of the best of these places I’ve been to and I’m only knocking it a star cause I imagine older kids (although there is lots to see don’t get me wrong), may not get the same experience from it.
But if you have a kid up to 8 or so years old this is a no brainer. Also if anyone from the science centre reads this, you’re doing a great job!

Remarkable place although overpriced. It is geared mainly to children and is incredible for them. They many hands on activiites as well as shows, movies, and demonstrations. Unlike many places, the films are included in the price. The cafeteria is amazing and reasonably priced. As adults, we still had an enjoyable day. For children it is a must.

Though we live hours away, I’ve been taking my children to OSC for well over a decade now, anytime we’re in the Orlando area, and it never disappoints. There is so much hands-on fun to be had WHILE learning (which as a parent I just love!). I recommend arriving at opening hours and planning to stay until close. There is THAT much to see and do.

No. We went on a weekday and the line to enter was very short.

Thank you for your review of the Orlando Science Center. We too are from Toronto and were looking for something to do with our 2 and 6 year old grandkids on a layover near Orlando airport after our cruise next week. Your review was very helpful. We love Ontario Science Center and am happy to hear that Orlando rates high on your list.

In addition to Subway on the first floor, we are opening a coffee shop inside of the Science Center later this month. The coffee shop will serve drinks and healthy snacks.
