Wonderful Day
Jul. 2021 • Family
Great day for snorkeling, lazy river and getting to meet Capricorn the Dolphin during the Dolphin experience. He was so sweet! Grounds were spotless and included meals made it easy to decide what you want to eat without worrying about what to order. Prefer the all inclusive model that allows for a full day without paying for extras.

The only issue was the photo package of the Dolphin experience being terribly overpriced. Would have been willing to pay for a family package in a reasonable price range but not willing to pay hundreds of dollars for sub-par pictures.

What Happened to Discovery Cove
Jul. 2021 • Family
What has happened to Discovery Cove. This was my 3rd trip to Discovery Cove with my family. They previous 2 might have been my one of my favorite vacations. This time was not. As soon as you walk in they very rudely herd you towards the reef regardless of if you want to go or not. I’m talking aggressively. So I was unhappy from the start and that never changed. The breakfast was disgusting. We got there very early so maybe it was sitting out but disgusting. Their was 12 of us and we all agreed. The reef got so busy so early that you couldn’t swim without kicking or being kicked in the face. All the adult purchased the drink package but since they only had 1 person working at each bar we stood in line for 25 minutes every time we wanted a drink. So it definitely would been cheaper to pay individually for drinks. The place is beautiful and very relaxing. Staff is very friendly for the most part. We purchased a hotel package with sea world and aquatica. It was supposed to come with guaranteed admission to the parks. At least that is what they say to get you to buy it. When we tried to go on both 7/24 and 7/25 we were turned away because aquatica was full. When we explained we have guaranteed admission they said they guaranteed I was getting in today. Seaworld took advantage of the covid uncertainty. Guaranteed admission to the parks then defaulted on that guarantee. Might not sound like a big deal but we walked there with small children then, they were rude and lied about us getting in. Called customer service to figure what happened and they were worse. I will never vacation with Seaworld again. I recommend you not as well.

Must do when in Orlando
Jun. 2021
This was by far the best day we spent in Orlando! The package I got included swimming with the dolphins. What an amazing experience! Both breakfast and lunch are included in the price. No worrying about carrying money for meals. Even snacks and drinks were included. I ended up buying the large package with the scrapbook, frame, digital pictures and 8 pictures. It was well worth the money. We had such an amazing day swimming in the salt and fresh water areas. It really reminded me of a smaller version XCaret in Mexico, which is amazing.

Priceless Memories
Jul. 2021
We have been to Orlando numerous times but my family never went to Discovery Cove. Although it was pricy, I was hoping it would be worth it and provide priceless memories.

Upon arrival, free parking was great and so close to the entrance. We were greeted by friendly staff. Kat (I believe that was her name) was friendly and explained everything clearly to our family. Alisha said that although she was not assigned to our cabana, she went ahead and escorted us to our cabana. She gave a brief overview of the park. After we arrived to our cabana, she informed us Dylan would check in with us throughout the day at our cabana.

We had a 1030a Dolphin Swim time. That morning, the dolphins were not entirely cooperative which pushed back our times. We had an 1130a Seaventure. So Madi coordinated with the Seaventure crew and told us to do that adventure and come back later for the dolphin swim.

We went and did the Seaventure. The trainers and entire Seaventure staff was great! My daughter and wife were both nervous, but they assured them if they felt uncomfortable at anytime, they could end it. My wife nervously did it and was happy she did. Seaventure was an amazing experience and the pictures were priceless.

Back to the dolphin swim, there was several delays because of the weather. My family wanted to commend the young lady working that area (Madi). She handled several angry guests with composure. She dealt with angry guests when there was nothing she could do to control the weather or temperament of the dolphins. Swimming with the dolphins was such an incredible experience. The trainer in our group (I think her name was Julie - she had a wrap around her knee) was great. She explained so much about the dolphins. My mouth hurt the entire time from smiling too much. Truly an experience my family will never forget!

Amazing day in paradise!
Jul. 2021 • Family
Discovery cove is a day in paradise! The dolphin swim/interaction was a dream come true. But the whole day was amazing. The food was so good. I even got steak for lunch. Food and drinks are included with your ticket. You can pay $40 to upgrade to alcohol drinks. They provide you with swim wetsuits, towels, life jackets, sunscreen, even feminine products in ladies restroom for free. They have prescription goggles for snorkeling for those with bad vision. My daughter really appreciated that and I didn’t expect that, was amazing!

Nice place...Long lines!!!!!
Jun. 2021
Nice place. At the arrival, the line to get in is extremely long.........the cafeteria line is very long too.......I believe the drinks package is useless because the line for the drinks is so long that maybe you can have 1-2 drinks during the day unless you want to stay the entire day in the line.

A must do if you are ever in Orlando
Jul. 2021 • Couples
Hello Discovery Cove,
I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for all you have done with keeping the peace and love with humans and sea creatures alive. The staff is friendly, caring and wonderful. I specially would like to give thanks to one of your employees name Joshua. He was caring and considerate of my feelings and my situation. He is truly a caring and supporting employee. That up holds the true meaning of catering and care in Discovery Cove. Discovery cove did a great job on hiring well prepared staff. I recommend anybody to come to Discovery Cove. You will learn a lot from the sea creatures and how attentive the staff are. Another shout out goes to Tia, she was very supportive and accommodating to help make our stay was as smooth as posible.
Discovery Cove, I hope to see you soon. Blessing to you all <3

Great time at Discovery Cove
Jul. 2021 • Family
This place was awesome! We checked in, ate breakfast, was taken to our Cabana. Everyone was really nice. We did lunch and then had our time with the dolphins. We snorkled with many fish and stung rays. Saw the sharks through the window which was cool to see. Food was great. Todd was our guy that took care of us bringing us drinks and snacks. Overall top notch place and laid back. Definitely worth the time to see. Totally worth every penny spent.

My family, that included an 11 and 8 year old, had an amazing time. The dolphin experience was the highlight of our day! The trainers were great and answered all of our questions about the dolphins. And we got to spend time with Reef and Dixie! These two dolphins were just amazing and the most adorable. This was an experience we will never forget.

We did have a few times where we had to get out of the water due to thunderstorms. But we didn’t let that ruin our day. We were able to enjoy the lazy river and the waterfalls.

We enjoyed our time there however we have many times that we were called to get out of the water due to storms in the area.
The food was ok and our dolphin swim was postponed three times but the worst thing about the park was the constant buzzing of tour helicopters.
