    Really good with minor irritations
Our first visit to Sea World and, whilst we enjoyed it, there were some minor irritations. There are lots of signs directing you to the various attractions, but having followed them, you will often reach the next junction and your chosen attraction will no longer feature anywhere on the signpost, in the event there is one. So you can be left scratching your head. We also found the wait times advertised on the Sea World app wildly inaccurate. We joined the queue for Journey To Atlantis, and the advertised wait time was 20 minutes. It remained advertised at 20 minutes throughout the 40+ minutes we stood in it, before we gave up before we were anywhere near the front. At a conservative guess I’d say that wait would have been nearer 90 minutes given how far we still had to move when we left the line. That said, the wait for most rides, including the coasters, was less than 30 minutes, even on a busy Friday in July. So all was far from lost. The shows were excellent, and the dolphins, orcas and other animals clearly really well loved and cared for. The viewing areas were all really good. Ample eating options, important given you cannot take food in with you, serving surprisingly generous portions. It won’t be at the top of our list when it comes to Orlando parks, but worth a visit if it’s part of a package of tickets.

    Fantastic stay
I stayed with my husband on 11th -13th August. A Filipina girl helped us a lot since checked in and gave us information about the places around the hotels. Cafes and restaurants suggestions. Hotel is convenient and clean as we expected. We will definitely come back. Cheers to you lovely girl.

    Another amazing time at SeaWorld!!!
We have been traveling to Orlando for the past 9 years, every summer in August just before my daughter starts school. We used to go to Disney but Disney has lost it's mind with the high ticket prices and all the amenities they did away with so now for the past three years we have been visiting SeaWorld, Discovery Cove and Universal and let me say these three locations blow Disney away. This trip to SeaWorld was no different, we had a great time once again. My wife road the new standup coaster Pipeline and loved it. The Manta is her favorite but she likes them all and got to ride all of them. While crowded, it didn't seem overly crowded. My 9 year old likes the Grover's Boxcart Derby coaster in the Sesame Street area. Overall just a vey enjoyable experience and we will be back soon. This is the second year we have done lunch in the Sharks Underwater Bar and Grill. The food is the best in the park. You cannot make reservations ahead of time but you can go to the hostess station at 1130 to make dining reservations for the day. You will not be disappointed as you dine amongst the sharks in the shark tank inside the restaurant. It is actually the same tank that you take the conveyor belt through. It is a limited menu but the food is very good. The park is always very clean and the staff we interacted with were always professional and courteous. Again, can't say enough about what a great time my family of three had. The only recommendation I would have is to add more family friendly rides and family friendly coasters. Sesame Street is for the little ones and the coasters are more for tweeners, teenagers and adults. What the park is missing are the rides for kids 8-11 and family friendly rides. I would like to see SeaWorld add more rides like this as they continue to expand. The only true family ride is Infinity Falls. Don't get me wrong, there is still plenty to do for kids of that age, with all the exhibits but some rides would be nice too. SeaWorld, please as you continue to expand, add some more family friendly rides for an even more wonderful experience. This is the third year in a row we have done the behind the scenes penguin interaction. It is amazing, they take you behind the scenes and you get to meet and interact with penguins up close, which includes petting them and getting pictures with them, I highly recommend this extra cost experience, you will not be disappointed.

    Pleasantly surprised!
Sea World has always been one of my favorite theme parks but I hadn’t been there for many years. After reading several negative reviews, I was somewhat leery about taking my grandson. However, we spent two days there and it was every bit as wonderful as I remembered. The park was spotless, staff was friendly and helpful and the shows and exhibits were amazing. The only downside was that the food is very overpriced.

    Great day out
A good place to go with all the family, a great selection of rides for all ages, things to do and see as well. A lot of people don’t rate the park but I have to say all 3 are great and a great day out. Fireworks absolutely amazing.

    Lots of rollercoasters 🎢
There are lots of good rollercosters and a couple of new ones since our last visit. Always been a favourite attraction when in Florida. We visit twice in Sept. And had two different experiences, during the week on a std. day it was great, most rides we walked stright on or waited no more than 20 mins 👍. Don't go at the weekend with a fright night event, just too busy, hour plus wait for a ride 👎.

Great experience even with low staffing
Had a great day at sea world. The shows are great and the rides are even better. If you like coasters it beats anything at universal and disney. Park attendance is low so lines are very short basically just walk on. The food is good and the dining pass is worth it especially considering food prices at theme parks. The only draw backs I noticed is the park is understaffed which means you are much more independent then you will be at disney or universal. So as long as your capable you will be fine but if you need to be led around you will have a difficult time.

    More than fish
Very much enjoyed the shows. The performers were outstanding. The air conditioned venues were nice break from the heat. Many Booths available for Food and Beverages — prices extremely expensive. Shops for mementos are also expensive.

    SeaWorld Great! Discovery Cove Stinks
Sea world is great! I love the rides and the interactions with animals. The only slight negative is their food pricing which they need to reduce. For the rest it is SO MUCH better than Discovery Cove. Chose this above there anytime

Good coasters, meh food plan, off season
Went with teens, young children, adults and a senior. Off season visits were nice in that we were able to directly board most rides. Coasters are awesome and fun. One was closed for maintenance. Sadly, the showtimes for some shows changed during the day and we missed a few. Food plan was ok. The options off season were limited and to get the food pass going was confusing. If we had payed full price instead of the promotional price, it wouldn't have been very good. The food is expensive though and they don't allow anything from home, so keep that in mind.

I give 2/5 if I had paid 139$ (regular price). Hopefully I paid $69 only (I would give 3/5).

Pros : spectacles are wonderful (orca, dauphin, BMX, penguin).

Cons : attractions were 60 to 120 minutes wait, it was Friday so we didn't use them unfortunately.
After 4pm, streets smell very bad because they don't pick up trash. Regular coke 5.99$, parking $40 I think you feel me...

This is our fourth year in a row going to SeaWorld and Discovery Cove. We visited on the 14th and returned on 15 June. My wife always enjoys the rollercoasters, her favorite is the Manta followed by the Pipeline. My daughter enjoys all the sea life exhibits, especially the Wild Artic exhibit. This is also the fourth year in a row we have done the behind the scenes Penguin Encounter where you actually get to be up close and personal with the Penguins, they always bring out at least one King and this visit they also brought out a little Rock Hopper, always great to get to learn about the penguins and be able to pet them and get some awesome photos of them as well. I highly recommend this encounter, it is well worth the money and our favorite at SeaWorld.

We ate for the third time at Sharks Underwater Grill and thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant as well as the food. I highly recommend this dining location. Of note, you can not make reservations but if you go to the hostess station near the front door at 1100 to get on the wait list for lunch or dinner. I recommend getting there as close to 1100 as you can because it books up quickly.

The only disappointment was the fact the Penguin Trek rollercoaster was not open despite the signage saying it was coming in the spring of 2024. We were really hoping to ride this family friendly coaster, my daughter was especially disappointed that the coaster was not ready or open.

All in all, we had another great visit to SeaWorld and will definitely be back in the future.

I had an annual pass and you must call to cancel, they charged my account but last year it was not an annual charge. I did not consent and they actually charged my account a month before it ended. The website gives no ability to cancel the membership and you have to call. They will do a refund but it takes 2-3 weeks. This company is going to the toliet and I have been going to Busch Gardens for two decades. The business practices are low key ignorant, and deceptive.

I am an Orlando native and have had annual passes to both Disney and SeaWorld parks for decades. SeaWorld used to be my favorite park, but my family is ditching our annual passes because it has declined SO SO VERY MUCH. You have read all about how the people there are uncaring and about as sharp as a wet bag of hair. Well, that's all true, but we still felt we received some value for the rides and shows (We all have Platinum passes for SeaWorld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens Parks. My son wanted to see 4th of July fireworks and we didn't want to drive all the way out to Disney and deal with the crowds, so we decided to go to SeaWorld. We got there approximately 30-45 minutes after the rain had stopped and all storms and cleared the area or dissipated. All of the rides were still closed for "lightning in the area." A quick search of the radar would verify that the closest storm of any type was in Hillsborough County, a good 50 miles away. They use this excuse ALL the TIME. Even when the sky is clear and all of the other theme parks are operating, they use this excuse to provide breaks for their employees. I have literally been told this by a ride operator at Manta. The last straw, though, happened Thursday Night when we were waiting for the 4th of July fireworks that they advertised as being a "fireworks spectacular synchronized to patriotic music." They charged a premium of $29 to sit in special seating in the grandstand. We didn't opt for this, but found a spot near a railing along the lagoon. At 10:00, the scheduled start time, there was some random SeaWorldish music and a few flares, flames, and lights. There were also a few small fireworks, which suddenly stopped. Everyone sat in silence waiting for the show to re-start. After about 15 minutes, an announcement came on that the fireworks were being delayed due to (you guessed it) WEATHER! There was NO weather! No Rain! No Wind, No anything!!! It was evident that there was a technical glitch, probably because SeaWorld cut corners and bought some old fireworks or hired an unreputable company to provide the experience. I told my family we were leaving, because those fireworks were not going to happen. As we were leaving the front of the park, the announcement came on that the 4th of July Fireworks were being CANCELLED DUE TO UNFAVORABLE WINDS AND OUT OF CONCERNS FOR THE SAFETY OF THE ANIMALS!!!!!! That was the last straw. People were kept in those stands for over an hour, only to be lied to. Just to be clear, the air was STAGNANT! There was no air movement at all. The smoke from the few small fireworks that were shot did not go anywhere but up. The national weather service said the wind was ESE at 4 mph! They couldn't possibly take responsibility for their mismanagement of everything in the park. This has been a recurring theme at SeaWOrld. Blame the weather no matter what! Stop gaslighting us SeaWorld! We are smarter than that!

We visited Sea World (Orlando) on July 3, 2024. We purchased tickets that were discounted by 50% for a promotion that they had, which is much better than the cost of a full price Disney Park for the day. The discounted tickets allowed us to justify some of the things that we did not like, but the fact that the tickets normally cost much more is hard to defend for what you get. Overall it was a very expensive day and there is a 5% surcharge on EVERY purchase - but no one knows why.

Parking: Always use a hotel shuttle or bus if you can - parking is expensive and traffic is horrendous. We paid $37 for general parking. Got there at 8:30AM and had no issues. They offer preferred parking for like $20 more and VIP parking for like $40 more - no need to do either one if you get there near open.

Rides: Mixed on rides. Many of the rides are 54 inches or more which didn't work for my kids. We walked over to one ride (Infinity Falls) only to learn it didn't open until 10AM (nothing posted that said this). So we went over to Sesame area and did those rides. Came back to Infinity Falls only for it to be delayed opening. It finally opened around 10:15 - it was fun and we got soaked!!!! Aside from this ride and the Sesame rides, we didn't get on much else (were there for 8 hours)

Shows: Cant say enough about the Orca show and Dolphin show - so much fun and mesmerizing to see what they can do - the kids loved them. We also explored some of the various walk through exhibits which were great.

Food: Food is terrible here - very expensive - and hard to come by. Most things were not open until 10 or 11 - very hard to find places to eat or machines that worked. Don't bother buying $4.50 water - just go to a machine and get ice water - we did that all day. One place we ate had $6.99 pickles, $7.99 fruit plate (which was 3 mini oranges), and my fried chicken sandwich (which was 2 chicken tenders thrown onto a bun) was the same price as 4 chicken tenders ($17.79!!!).

People: Generally helpful and friendly.

Brilliant family experience. Amazing displays and spectacular displays. Fun for all ages with so much to see and do. Some extreme rides and waiting times were quite reasonable. Staff were very helpful.

I really enjoyed our multiple days in the park! The rides are great and far more thrilling than Disney and their annual pass was much more economical than Disney! We enjoyed a great food and wine festival which was reasonably priced if you bought an 18 tasting lanyard. The shows were good! And my favorite is feeding the sea lions! We had such a good time that I have booked VIP tours here and in San Antonio in the fall so I will keep you posted!

The queues are diabolical. The App tells you 30 minutes when in reality you're still waiting 80 minutes later. I got here at 9.30 and all I've done is go on 1 ride and had a hot dog. Now I'm in line waiting, waiting, waiting....
