We enjoyed the self guided tour of this old farm house. The house is well kept and easily accessible in the State park. Visitors will learn a lot about the Thursbys who once owned the house and the surrounding land.

A chance to visit a part of Florida history you will not get very often. Very interesting in it's simplicity and utility.

The house is not open to the public so there is nothing really interesting to see which was disappointing. However there is a brochure about its history.
