Group of 4 adults, 2 small kids and 1 teenager. We had a blast. Went in the springs, it was freezing but felt nice (I am from FL so it doesn't take much to be cold, lol). Saw manatees, lots of birds, fish, etc. You can rent tubes $5 first hr, canoes, kayaks, etc. We were all entertained. Would go... More

Great area for family outings. We took a boat tour with out of towners, had a great time ,employees answered many questions. The springs are kept up and has a great store if you forget anything.

Rented a cabin in Blue Spring this weekend and I am beyond excited and pleased. The cabins are cozy, well equipped, very clean, very new, very peaceful, the area is spotless, the beds great, those were probably among the 3 best cabin in the woods rentals I've ever stayed at! Useless to say the park itself is stunning, the kayaks... More

We didn't see any manatees, as it was too early but we loved it anyway. Gorgeous nature! Saw lots of birds and lizards. We took the boat trip and it was worth every penny. Lovely and totally enjoyable.

My husband and I visited the spring on a snorkel excursion in October. The water was a cool 72'ish and crystal clear. It is about a 1/4 mile swim to the boil from the parking location. Tons of fish to see of all sizes, catfish, bass, garrison and different pan fish and turtles. We did not get to see a... More

During the later part of November through February you can view numerous Manatees in the springs. The water is clear and flows from the spring head to the river. Trails and decks lead you along side the springs with two entry points to swim during the summer period. Water stays a constant 72 degrees. Great way to experience nature and... More

I've been going here since I was a kid. On this visit we saw wild turkeys and even a manatee who came into the spring. The park is so peaceful and beautiful. The downside is some ofbthe visitors don't care about it and throw their trash out. We saw one car just toss a bag out of their car on... More

We learned about this park through TripAdvisor and went today, a Monday, looking for a true Florida adventure. We were not disappointed! This place is fabulous, so peaceful and pristine. I do not know how crowded it can get this time of the year, with summer being behind us, but it was almost empty today - two, three dozens of... More
