We visited Land Between the Lakes at the very end of October, so place was very empty. We saw the bison which were interesting to see, but not much going on this time of the year. Rangers at the visitors center were helpful and friendly.More

We really enjoyed the planetarium show at the visitor center. Even got to see a little laser show set to Pink Floyd music. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff.

The exhibit area has some great exhibits for free. There is a bookstore that has clothing, souvenirs, books, etc. The south bison range is south of the visitor center. In October, it is not busy. The park ranger is helpful. The planetarium is open with...More

I'm glad you had a nice visit at Land Between the Lakes. The Elk and Bison Prairie is located about a mile North of the Golden Pond Planetarium and you can drive through it, something to consider on your next visit.

So glad you had a nice visit to the Golden Pond Visitor Center and Planetarium. Our planetarium is open daily 10am-5pm. The observatory is open for special star parties and celestial events. I hope you are able to come back and visit us again soon.

400 miles and 6 hrs - take time to visit LBL - great family fun for camping, hiking, biking, horse riding and driving through the Elk and Bison range. Enjoy!
