Interesting historical facts explained along the path. The area is well maintained. Heck, it's something to do in Oak Hill without a boat or fishing pole. Definitely worth a stop.

We stop by at least once a year to check on the house, it's so calming to know people cared enough to restore this jewel.

We found this by accident! It's a great quick stop off US 1. I would have never guessed that this tucked away site would have the history that it has. Call before you get there if you want to see the house and gift shop....More

This park is so very tranquil and relaxing. There is a 1/2 mile pathway through the park and along the way there are NPS signage that provides information about the site explaining its historic value. The two homes sitting atop the mound (the remnants of...More

We visited Seminole Rest for a Florida History field trip. This is a great little park and it is free of charge! The big trees are so beautiful and the history is very interesting.

You can drive there and there was no admission price. There were fish camp lodgings in the surrounding properties but none on the National Park administered Site.
