We travelled to this park from our condo down the road. We were interested in hiking, which we did, but there is only a short trail. Pay at the guard booth and self parking. There's a trail to follow that takes you across the bridge...More
Aside from some extra movement from the water...it was fabulous! Everything was clean...showers, beach, parking and of course the beach!

This State Park is a real hidden treasure. Beautiful, well maintained park with different water activities available. We went kayaking in a double kayak. Beautiful scenary. Staff very helpful. Walked to beach area too. Very nice. We will be back. 🏊♀️🏊♂️🚴♂️🚴♀️🛶
They have a program set up so that you can go as a group with a guide to watch nesting sea turtles. Although we were only able to see a turtle come out of the water from a distance it was still a fun experience!
Kayaks are available to rent on first-come-first serve. Need to get there early. we have a yearly membership and would not renew it as the kayaks are NOT comfortable to sit in for more than 2 hours with no back support. Highly suggest you bring...More
if you check the maps/charts you will find it to be quite a distance. I don't think the kayaking from the park would allow such a trip - but if you have your own kayak it would be possible. Watch out for the power boat... More
