I grew up in the Bronx. That tells you how much I know about farming. This is an interdenominational group that promotes global food production. Nothing gets wasted and they work with and teach countrymen how to provide for their families. They encourage the countrymen to come up with their own solutions. A must see.

My wife loves planting and gardening and I love to eat. She heard about the echo farm from her garden club last week. As a weekend activity we decided to To there on Saturday yesterday. The place was filled with lots of nature loving kind of folks. With a low admission fee (a half of the normal fee) we enjoyed... More

Very interesting place to visit. Essentially a working farm emulating conditions in lesser developed countries designed to help develop practices, seed stock and train Ag workers and missionaries. Line wasn't long term get in the tours which only occur on some days if the week. Arrived about 20 min before tour. Docent was very informative and knowledgeable. Slot of standing... More

I am just glad that I accepted a friend's invitation to visit Echo Global Farm Tours. What can I say? It was a day of learning and education. The weather was just perfect and we took a few minutes to explore the moringa products that were on sale at the visitors' center. After a few minutes, our group was led... More

First of all, if you are looking for a farm experience for young children, this is not it. ECHO is an NGO committed to helping small farmers in poverty stricken areas worldwide use sustainable practices to support themselves and their families. There are two tours--one of the farm and another about how discarded items can be recycled to provide technology... More

There were 12 of us on their tour that takes you through various growing regions located in the tropical climates. You see how their regional centers help people grow food in areas where this is hard to do. A great opportunity to learn how fortunate we are and how we can help people in poorer countries learn to grow food.

I just completed a group tour of ECHO with about ten friends. It was outstanding! This is a wonderful educational foundation with a practical mission --- to help the hungry of the world feed themselves through low-tech farming practices designed for the individual farmer in third world countries. The tour was approx. two hours long and fascinating. I learned all... More

I love visiting ECHO. I have bought all of my fruit bearing plants and trees from ECHO. They have a great selection. If you enjoy gardening, it is a really nice place to tour as well.

We took the tour today with our friends and thorougly enjoyed the educatonal experience of what they are trying to do at ECHO. Facinating stuff that can be used around the world that allows people to sustain themselves in less than desirable agricultural conditions. I have been associated with agriculture my entire career and thought this was very good. Be... More
