This beach is very quiet, excellent for walking, looking for shells and shark-theets, the local sport for all visitors. No plastic or simiular waste. One of my favorite.

We live Nokomis beach but the red tide is still an issue. All five of us and all the people around us were coughing. We had Tho leave after an hour, so sad.

Not a fisherman, but there were several people fishing. I think it might be better a little closer to the Jetties.

No, not at Nokomis. Travel down farther south, past Venice Beach, near Sharkeys and you will find a dog beach.
