There are better sandbar islands that are not all about loud music, misbehaving adults, trash and crowds of people who don't know how to boat.

Favorite spot for boaters to beach their boats, picnic, swim, etc., but mainly at low tide. The island is mainly fine sand making the docking of boats easy.

Every time I go to visit this island it isn't there!!! One minute it is there and suddenly "poof!" it's gone! I have spoken to people who claim to have visited this island, and would mention them here but . .. . . . ....More

My boys and I visit here once a week, absolutely love it here. We fish, enjoys the water, bring our dog and meet new boaters all the time. A great place to have fun with the family.

If you plan your day based on the tides, you will not be disappointed. We took a pontoon boat out, anchored and spent hours as the tide came in, and the island went under! Take time for walking the area. The whole visit was super....More

We rented a pontoon Boat and went to disappearing island. Lots of crabs for kids to catch (and release). Swimming is the main activity here.
