Enjoyed a very nice lunch at one of several small cafes on Canal St. Explored some small eclectic shops. And visited the park where dolphins could be seen in the river.

The car show they have every other Saturday is really cool. It's a really neat neighborhood with shops, bars, and restaurants. I'm sure it's great any day of the week but, the cars are great to see.

Many great festivals take place on Canal. Most our artwork was purchased at the various shows. They have food truck nights, car shows, restaurants and micro breweries. Plus the locals.

There are no hotels/motels on Canal Street. There are two older inns and a Hampton Inn on Flager Avenue and a Best Western on S. Atlantic Avenue.
