This is a great place to visit. There are tons of shops and restaurants in the area. I would recommend getting a burger at the Breakers.

Great park next to the ocean. Utilized by locals as a nice shady spot with a great view of the Atlantic Ocean. Parking and public restrooms are close. Parking is pay but only 10.00 for the entire day. Close proximity to many food options and...More

The area has some over head shelter. The parking is metered and not very big. It is located on the ocean at the end of Flagler Ave. There is a dedicated area on the beach in front of the park that is "no beach parking"....More

We love coming to the beach and being in the ocean, seeing the gorgeous view and living here in Florida! It is no wonder that people travel here from around the world to visit the beaches in Volusia County!

City of New Smyrna does a very good job maintaining this area. Safe and clean with good facilities for day guests. Sand beach is white and packed for biking or walking.

The food at this restaurant was very good. The ambiance of the indoor area in the second floor is unique, beachy and very cool. I plan to go back to get some more of that blackened mahi-mahi.

Yes, but there is a toll booth you must go through to bring your jeep on the beach. it is worth it if you have never done it before because you can go north as far as Ponce Inlet where most of the surfers catch some waves... More

It is not far - but is more like 1/2 mile - very pleasant walk past shops and restaurants.
