New Smyrna Beach is a small town that isn’t touristy. There are shops along the beach. A section of drive and no drive beach. Clean, not crowded, friendly people. 30 min to Daytona and 90 min to Orlando. Great place for families.
We enjoyed the beach notice in some areas cars was driving on the beach but there is a fee for that. which I was not happy about. But love the town and the stores downtown lot's of historic homes there too.

I have been coming to the beach at NSB for 48+ years. The weekends are just way too crowded especially during the Summer. It is best to come during the week if possible. May and October are my favorite months.
