New Smyrna Beach is a small town that isn’t touristy. There are shops along the beach. A section of drive and no drive beach. Clean, not crowded, friendly people. 30 min to Daytona and 90 min to Orlando. Great place for families.

Took the day off and enjoyed a day at the beach with my wife. Beach is always clean, water warm, relaxing. Need to do this more often. I stay away on weekends, very crowded.

I have been coming to the beach at NSB for 48+ years. The weekends are just way too crowded especially during the Summer. It is best to come during the week if possible. May and October are my favorite months.

We had a wonderful time! The weather was perfect, we almost had the beach to ourselves every day, and the days we went shopping weren't overcrowded. That time of year is the absolute best!
