The boardwalks have all been replaced and the full loop can be made around to the parking lot (1.5 miles). Pavilions with seating and / or picnic tables are also new, with many leading off to the ocean beach area. This place is always full...More

The Smyrna Dunes Park is a state park in New Smyrna Beach. It is a beautiful location away for much of the throng of beach goers. Animals are not permitted by ordinance on the main beach, but are allowed on the Smyrna Dunes park if...More

A new wider boardwalk now nearly completed extends for 1.5 miles around the end of the New Smyrna North Peninsula. With its new composite floor, the boardwalk will be smoother than the old wooden one, and hopefully withstand the effects of the sun and rain...More

This is a terrific place to experience and take some cool pictures of the sand dunes. There is a jetty to walk on. You can stay beach level or climb some stairs giving very neat views of the sand dunes, beach, and ocean waves. There...More

This is a pretty cool park. It’s has beautiful views, a fishing pier, and in March of 2018 they were building a new boardwalk. I didn’t care for the construction detour on the existing boardwalk, but am looking forward to the new one once complete.

Love walking here. The boardwalk is not completely finished from the storm damage. They are widening the paths and using trek deck. So far what they have done is very nice. I am sure it will be wonderful when completed. The setting could not be...More

There is a parking lot at the dog park, but it requires a $5 admission. There is also a dog washing area, an entrance to the boardwalk, and beach and Inlet access.
