Old-style Florida nature. Run by Volusia County. This is why we need to support state and local parks every bit as much as "the Mouse".

The Dunes beach is a fantastic place to bring your whole family (even the four legged ones). The new boardwalk is really nice and you can walk your dogs on it before 10am. The pet beach is very nice and the trails are superb. There...More

We go to the Smyrna Dunes Park each morning of our vacation to watch the sunrise and take a walk around the point. The boardwalk improvements are awesome! So nice! We enjoyed this park again this year and will be back next.

While on vacation my wife and I need to get our steps in, fit bit crazies. $10 parking was reasonable. The facilities were good, with wash and change rooms. Outdoor showers for humans and pets. We walked the perimeter beach first, then walked the boardwalk,...More

This is a real gem. The mile# walkway has been reconstructed into a prime example of “smart growth”. Beautiful views of the ocean and lighthouse. Great to run, walk, or play on. Dogs are always welcome and the staff is very supportive. Just a great...More

This is sooo beautiful. Must go here. Quiet secluded beach area at the end of the long boardwalk. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy.

There is a parking lot at the dog park, but it requires a $5 admission. There is also a dog washing area, an entrance to the boardwalk, and beach and Inlet access.
