We especially like this park because of the boardwalk which allows persons with walking limitations a chance to walk among the sand dunes - job well done!

Nice walk on boardwalk out to dog beach. It was cool out so not very crowded. Nice to have a place to take your dog if they travel with you.

Great place to walk through the dunes and see the lighthouse. We went on a cold windy day, but still had a nice time!

Unfortunately, the boardwalk is not continuous. There is a short stretch between the doggie beach boardwalk and the boardwalk from the parking lot that crosses the sandy foot path. A distance, I'd guess, of 25-30 feet.
