Popped in for a quick visit with friends on the way to Marco Island. The entrance fee is modest at Dlrs5.00 for adults and discounted pricing for children, so a reasonable cost for families. The facility provides some great information about the plant life, birds and local marine life in south west Florida, including a short film and a number... More

We loved taking our grandchildren and family to Rookery Bay. The staff immediately greeted us and were friendly upon our arrival with very knowledge facts about the region and research center. Great walking trails and exhibits. Consider a visit and donation.

We had a lot of fun in this little museum. Lots of interesting facts and displays. One warning, If you do any of the walking paths, you really need long pants, closed shoes and bug spray. The ants are crazy!
