Interesting place to visit. The boardwalk trail was nice path to tour the swamp. Saw lots of birds. Very quiet and peaceful. Wished we could have seen a few more creatures, but its nature, what can you do.

Wonderful boardwalk trail through the swamp. Take bug spray! We took great close up shots of Hummingbirds, Painted buntings, Cardinals, Hawks etc. There is a nice Visitor's Center.A great escape close to town!

Thanks for visiting. For many visitors who see a Painted Bunting at Audubon's Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, it's the very first one they've ever seen.

A good spot for birders to see some of Florida’s wintering birds. The volunteers are that mix and mingle with guests are well informed and helpful. A good spot for nesting wood stork observation. Otters, raccoons, cottonmouth snakes and, of course, alligators visible too.

Corkscrew Swamp is always one of the first nature areas we see. In the past years it has been hit by storms that have knocked down large trees. There has also been a lot of rain which has resulted in water being higher than usual...More

Thanks for visiting so often.

Lovely boardwalk through gorgeous swamp lands. Not taxing and suitable for buggies. A slow walk to take in the scenery and try and spot the wildlife can easily fill half a day.
