Course being redone, inexpensive

Tough course, especially the back 9. Still for $29 I had a great time. Greens were fast and clean. Many fairways were narrow and about 4 holes nasty-tough on the back 9!!

I loved the course. We decided to get outside of Orlando to play golf. This course was a little challenging, but not so much that it's not enjoyable to play. Loved the design of the course. The cost was at least half what you'd pay around Orlando. No out of state extra charges. great service. The restaurant also served a... More

We had an excellent brunch on Sunday which included Santa Claus and Mrs. clause with a very very nice brunch. I would definitely return to the walkabout

Haven't been to Indian River Preserve (formerly Walkabout GC) in many years, mostly because I didn't really care for the layout. The course seems to have had a facelift with a new clubhouse, restaurant, and practice facilities. The putting green is huge, probably a 100 yards long but maybe only 15 yards wide (plenty of targets). I didn't visit the... More

I have been golfing at courses all around the central Florida area and have never played a course in such poor repair. The fairway was patchy and rough. The greens were also patchy and rough. Dead areas of grass were everywhere. The course was pathetic and that was probably due to the green keeping crew being too busy fishing the... More

Great golf course and super new clubhouse. Top value for money! They have changed the name to Indian River Preserve so they need to get some new shirts? Hope to see you again soon!

I loved playing walkabout. The course was beautiful, challenging, and had many interesting holes. It does have a lot of water and sand, but not so challenging that one becomes frustrated. Good course for long hitters. Walk about also had a very nice club house. We had lunch and it was very good.

This course is in Mims (north of Titusville) just off Interstate 95. It's a favourite of mine and all the friends I have had visit have raved about it. It's conditioning recently declined from its usual high levels but a new management company has already begun the recovery process and the positive effects are already visible. The new clubhouse is... More

I have played this course many times and I compare it to other courses in the area and as far west as Orlando and south to Melbourne. I find for the price of green fee(which includes cart) it is one the best golf experiences in the whole area. Staff are continually working to make fairways better( better grass so you... More

First let me say that we are beginners and this course was by far the most challenging course we have played yet. There are lots of sand traps and hills. But don't let that ruin your fun!!! We really enjoyed playing this course while visiting the area. The course was laid out well and the greens were in great shape.... More
