We wanted to do some outdoor stuff as the weather was nice and we were able to take our small dog with us on the float. What a nice way to start off on our vacation.

We went kayaking on the river and had a great time. The water was clean, calm and there were plenty of places to stop and rest. One of the places we stopped was a little swamp preserve where there is supposedly alligators.

We took the kids for an afternoon summer swim and they loved it! It is so beautiful and great for families with kids of all ages! White sandy beaches and Cole refreshing water.

Went to Bagdad Park on Blackwater river, wonderful area and room to grow. Benches are located by the river with picnic tables and water.

It's clean!! It's full of nature!! Great Birdwatching, Great fishing!! Beautiful camping trips taken off the river!! The only thing that's lacking is parking spaces!! All the locals are so nice!! So helpful!! You can see hundred's of smiles all day!!

I think both are fun. Cold creek maybe less traveled. Different every year but either is great!
