I used to live in South Beach, but immigrated to the UK back in '98. Most of South Beach has been commercialized and ruined, especially Lincoln Road Mall. Unlike Lincoln Road Mall, Espanola Way, has managed to maintain all of its charm and is well...More

In the first block of this street west of Washington Street, there is no shortage of dining experiences to choose from. Complete with outside seating and hosts trying to get you to try their restaurant. Lots of music and sound. Biggest drawback is the cigar...More

We happened by this street on our walk through South Miami Beach and saw all the action! What a lot of choices for dinner and a great opportunity for people watching!

One of the 'happening' areas for evening dining. With a pedestrianised street, the restaurants spread out from the buildings on either side to offer Mexicon, Cuban, Italian and Spanish cuisine, and probably a few I failed to notice. Whether dining or just out for a...More

Ocean Drive to me is glitz and glam, here you get a more authentic feel for MIA/SOBE. I really enjoyed my time here and the Wife and I came back to eat at another restaurant.

Lovely Spanish houses and interior in the restaurants and hotels. You will love the Spanish flair. Had a great time there with best Mojitos in town! A MUST when you stay in Miami

Yes. Some family members stayed here last week. It was exceedingly noisy even though they were given roons at the back! Hotel provided ear plugs. The restaurants are lively and noisy.

I don't think bikes would be an issue - it was only blocked off for cars. As long as you take care around pedestrians you should be fine.
