Great place to walk by the ocean but not get covered in sand. Lots of people out running and walking!

From the Soho House all the way down for miles, the boardwalk is terrific. You can see all the many apartments, condos and hotels, squeezed in between each other. You cannot view this from the front, as they all look like Hotels. It’s amazing how...More

This walkway --- and the adjacent Beach Walk, which is made of colorful paver stones --- offers a unique look at Miami Beach and it's hotels and condos without any noise or traffic, as it essentially runs between the buildings and the beach. Very picturesque....More

The boardwalk is beautiful and I love it. We live in cold Canada so a leisurely stroll down the boardwalk in December was amazing. You can see a beautiful sunset, the beach is a step away. You can hear the ocean, if your kids stop...More

Look out for bikes and skaters, but still a good place to walk away from the traffic. Walked from 41st to South Pointe every day we were there.

Up and down the beach on the boardwalk passing by all the luxury hotels, such a nice promenade. Take your time or get a good jog from mangrove to sand and back to mangrove, really pretty walk...

Walk the board walk and you will be entertained with spectacular ocean views, crazy beach antics, and wild people watching. Catch a few glimpses of the beautiful hotel pools that line the beach and get exercise at the same time. It's a win win!

Your best bet would be the hotels on Collins Avenue. Most of them have a back access to the beach and the boardwalk for a nice morning stroll. Also if you want to stay in a shopping area, you need to be close to Lincoln Rd... More

Goggle South Beach Miami maps and check out the area of Collins Ave. The hotel website should tell you if it's located beach front.
