They are using "Pre-recorded music" now so there is no Orchestra. What a rip for 100$ a ticket. How sad is the day that a beautiful ballet co like the MCB uses tapes.More

Thank you for your response. To clarify, Miami City Ballet does use live music for all of its repertory performances, unless a choreographer requests a taped version of a song. The company performs to taped music only for its productions of George Balanchine's The Nutcracker....More

The Arsht Center is a first-class venue and Miami City Ballet gives an excellent performance no matter what the program is. This company generates so much energy and brings a high level of understanding and musicality to every show.Go more than once on your trip!

What a dazzling performance! I especially enjoyed seeing a world premiere of Liam Scarlett's "Euphotic" which was a perfect injection of freshness and the new mixed with classic rep (also done very freshly) such as "Don Quixote" and "Divertimento No 15."
