Fun way to get around

We took the metro over from the area around the Perez Art Museum just to see Miami from above. It's free and if you don't mind standing, it's a fun way to get around Miami.

Riding the metromover is very fun, first because it doesn't have a driver, second because it is free and third because we get to know interesting areas in Miami from above with special views of downtown, Biscayne Bay and Brickell neighbourhoods. These three areas have many attractions where you can stop to shop, eat or just take a walk around.... More

Can't beat the price - FREE! Took both loops, about 45 minutes each. Nice sightseeing from an elevated car. Great timekiller on a lazy afternoon.

Free! Wow. Thank you all (Miami Taxpayers, including tourist paying hotel tax). This is a great get-around-town transit system...so rare in US cities!! Love the way it interfaces with multiple route and transit system options; wish the windows could have been cleaner for the great photo shots from subject vehicles. But, kudos to all the hard working cleaning staff I... More

The concierge at our hotel told us about the Metro Mover. It's sort of a cross between a monorail and a light rail train that runs on rubber tires. There are four main lines that can get you around many of the major activities that are available in the area. Best of all, it's free. Hop on, hop off. Take... More

The Metromover is a free monorail system that weaves thru downtown Miami. Air conditioned but no seating. Great way to see a little of the City on a budget.

What a great way to get around. Seating is very limited so be prepared to stand. It is easy to figure out the three lines and the best stops closest to your destinations.

I had a great time travelling via the metromover. You get to see some beautiful scenes along the way to the airport.

The Metromover is a great and fun way to get around Downtown Miami. It connects the downtown core area to the financial district of Brickell (south, via the "Brickell loop") and the Arts/Overtown district (north, via the "Omni loop"). It also connects you to the larger Metrorail system that can take you to Miami International Airport and the South Florida... More
