Just look for Metromover signs and hop on and off these automated trains totally free of charge to explore different parts of the City - unfortunately doesn't go to South Beach area but Bayside area, Brickell and other areas covered.

Used it to move around Miami financial district; it was fast, free and better than taxi/uber (traffic was crazy). Highly recommended if you are around brickwell area

This mode of transportation can be quite convenient and affordable depending on your destination. Trains come pretty often.

Easy to use for sightseeing. Free means of transport. Clean although safety can be an issue with the homeless having access to the train at all times.
