The current location of the Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science is closed and will re-open at its new location in downtown Miami's Museum Park in summer 2016. The museum will continue to activate in and around South Florida via its "Out & About with Frost Science" outreach program, bringing educational science experiences to the community. The new Frost Science will be structured around a lushly landscaped indoor and outdoor Living Core Aquarium of terrestrial and aquatic environments, featuring a Gulf Stream Aquarium experience totaling over 500,000 gallons of salt water. The facility will also feature the state-of-the-art, full-dome Frost Planetarium, the Knight Learning Center, Innovation Center and Cafe, and an Exploration Center featuring permanent interactive exhibits. The Patricia and Phillip Frost Museum of Science is funded with the support of Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners.

The Science Museum is a new attraction in Miami and I thought it would be wonderful. We purchased our tickets at 1pm and were told that the planetarium show at 1:40 was sold out and the next available time was 4pm. There is not enough...More

We were very excited about going to the new science museum. Although it is somewhat expensive for a museum, we expected to spend the entire day there. However, in a couple of hours we had already gone through the entire museum. From the exterior, the...More

I have more complaints then compliments at this time. I took my Goddaughter this past weekend in July 2017. First my negatives: I don't like the 3 separate lines there are for dealing with tickets, there is the new purchase ticket line, the prepaid ticket...More

Loved visiting this museum as a member. Science rocks and we encourage all to get involved. Will bring ALL grandchildren to experience this museum. Could be a bit more organized and the Planetarium is a Must Do

This was a nice place to take the kids (ours was 4 years old). The laser show was fun. Even with the long line, viewing the moon with the telescope was amazing (and worth the wait). Looking forward for 2016 to see the new place.

First its worth noting that the museum is moving to a newly built venue on Biscayne Blvd at Museum Park, next to the PAMM. The former venue, which just closed this past weekend, was long over due for a closing and hanging on by a...More
