The Brevard County Farmers Market was created for two primary reasons: to provide a direct-marketing outlet for local growers and producers, and to provide a place for consumers to purchase goods from local farmers and producers. All of the Market vendors are screened before being accepted as a vendor. This process ensures that products sold are grown or produced in Florida, and are agricultural in nature. Each vendor must produce or grow at least 50% of the products sold at the market. The Market is a operated through a joint partnership with Brevard County Parks & Recreation and the University of Florida/IFAS Brevard County Extension Service.

Small but nice

I've been there a few times. It is small and you can't find a variety of fruits and vegetables all the time. Still it's nice to go and buy.

I'm used much larger farmers markets, such as: the Saturday morning market in Saint Petersburg that covers several city blocks and includes entertainment and more vendors than you can visit. I was very excited to try the brevard county farmers market and finally made it over to wickham park this week. I was initially disappointed at how small it was,... More

Stopped by the farmers market for fresh vegetables & fruits on the way home from the grocery store. There was none - unbelievable. Prefer to buy local, fresh produce and not imported stuff in grocery stores. The market had vendors selling non-produce items. Cosmetics, flavored olives, candles, hotdogs were readily available but no produce. Totally disappointed.

Great place to find organic and local products but if you don't get there early you will miss out ! The organic vegetables go fast.

not just eggs either..friendly locals selling their greens, purples, and yellows to fellow locals...almost feels like you're in an Amish Community. Tip: get there early if you want eggs...they run out fast!

The previous review listed July as the time to find the majority of fresh produce in Florida...actually the majority of vegetables and fruits may be found in the Fall and winter months. Summer here is actually the same a winter in northern climates. Check out the Market now!

This is our first time at Brevard County Farmer's Market and we expected more than what we saw. Only 5 or so stands were selling their products, not much of a choice. The reason could be "Snow Birds" went home but this is the season for most of the vegetables and fruits.
