The beach is nearby as well, but this park is really nice. Families with young children may prefer this to the beach since the waves are minimal at most. Pretty area and we enjoyed it.

Everyday is different when you come to this park. I've walked out on the jetty and have seen thousands of fish, sea turtles and one day manatees! The surfing is almost always good and you can't beat the fishing! Camping here is great but book way...More

Thus is a nice park with a new restaurant and an area to bath as well as watch for dolphins and manatees. The fishing pier is great except the anamosity between a few fishermen and boaters has caused the pier to be closed at dusk...More

What a beautiful site and view. There is a cost to enter and that was a slight turnoff for us, as we just wanted to take a few pictures and lunch, not spend the day, but that was not an option.

We've camped here before. My husband loves to fish. You can fish from the bank, a catwalk under the bridge, a long fishing pier which the ocean crashes on, the beach, the jetty, a boat....& people catch fish. The campground isn't big but it's nice....More

What a beautiful park, You can back your camper right up to the water. Park your boat or kayaks right behind it in the water. Fishing is great. The only thing lacking are large trees at all the sites

The kids wanted to fish for the afternoon when we were in town, the spot appears to be popular, we only tried the fishing part but it is a park on the water. People were catching Jack and cat fish mostly.
