I like to take my grand children and their friends to this site AND then to the Barrier Island Museum (about a 30 minute drive further south). The Barrier Island facility is much larger and has many more interactive displays and exhibits than this one...More

These people put up the effort. Always there to help if there is an issue with an injured turtle, to lend a hand or answer your questions. Volunteers all. Great group of people.

My father loves visiting here every year that he comes to visit. A great selection of hats and shirts aS well as an awesome education experience on sea turtles. They also have a drop box for lost or injured baby sea turtles.

Closed on Mondays apparently, not quite sure how you close nature but they did! Had gates etc saying NO ENTRANCE. Long drive for nothing.

When I loved in the area many years ago, I was a member of the STPS Stranding team. They do amazing work and it was an Honor to be a part of such a great organization!!

Very educational organization manned by volunteers. They have a gift shop just loaded in educational items. If you have kids, they would really enjoy the shop.Visit their website for more info.

the sea turtle tours are only during nesting season, which isn't until the summer/early fall; their office is located right on A1A in Melbourne Beach and they're very helpful; there are also several nice educational centers... More
