Had a lot of fun doing this tour with a friend. The tour takes a while to do, about 1 1/2 hours, 1/2 mile in and 1/2 mile out. A lot of ducking. We also were put in with 2 groups of 8th graders, it made it interesting.

Good guided tour around the underground caverns and pleasant walks throughout the woods - made a pleasant change from the man-made parks. Bit of a trek to get to Marianna, but worth the effort!

Florida caves are an educational and out of common place to visit with children. They are safe and the guided tour makes it more interesting. I had visited them a few years ago and today with my grown girls again, they still remember their first visit.

Take a nice break from all the Theme Parks in Florida and spend a day seeing some of the best nature has to offer. The caverns are awesome and the park rangers keep it interesting while you take this 45 minute walking tour. This park is amazing and not expensive.

We've camped here before and did the cavern tour. This was the dry season so we made it through the entire cavern tour. This is an easy, relatively short tour. You will see a lot of different formations and it's not difficult to maneuver throughout. You'll have some stooping over and a few places to watch over your head but... More

Spent the day hiking and trekking through the caverns. Neat area that is hilly/rocky; definitely not "typical" Florida. Caverns were worth the $8.00 fee to walk through. 45 min walk, lots of bending /crouching for tall folks but completely passable. Cool features/formations similar to other caverns but unique for FL. Large park with several day-use areas and hiking trails. Would... More

We had a great time camping at the Florida Caverns. They have about 30 full hook up sites with gravel pads. Sites are plenty wide and spacious. We had an issue with a lot of bees. We were staying there with other friends and family, all of which had the issue, so it wasn't just our spot. They weren't too... More

On our way driving through to Orlando we saw the signs for the caves. It was about 6 miles off the main highway all on pavement. There is a gift shop on site where you buy your $8 guided tour. Also there is a $5 per vehicle charge for park entrance. The 45 minute tour is the only way you... More

This is the fourth cavern I've been to and the first in the state of Florida. I really didn't expect it to be as large as it is, it's really quite impressive. It has a natural opening, and even though it has been made accessible it has not been overdone. I would say this cavern is a beginner cavern, very... More
