I have wanted to see the Dome House for years and finally got to go! We took a shelling/nature trip on the Calusa Spirit. So easy, picked us up on the beach and took off! Our hosts Capt. Joe and First Mate Sonia were terrific!...More

Once upon a time this was a neat sight to see, now...not so much! Most of the photos on this site are from years ago....everything is now IN the water. The beach that was once there, is gone! Yes, it is a piece of history,...More

Great private tour shelling and Cape Romano! Captain Marco went out of his way to help us find sand dollars and teach us about the history

We were here in Sept. and they are about gone. There were a few snook swimming nearby. I would not pay money to get out here.

Very cool structure with an amazing history. It is interesting to know how much the area has changed in such a short amount of time.

Wanted to get here for years, and finally booked the boat for a photo trip. Well worth the money and we got to view it from all sides. Interesting history of the house and a fun photo shoot.

If you rent a boat this is a nice area to travel to. Very nice area to see and realize it was apart of a house at one time. Its a unique landmark

Captain Marco is an excellent tour guide. He gave us ton of information about the area and the dome houses. We saw the dolphins jumping, picked up a lot of seashells and saw the dome houses up close. We had a wonderful experience.

The dome houses are an architectural wonder. Built as a vacation home on Cape Romano in 1980, they were originally on land. Over the years, the sand around the structures has receded leaving them surrounded by water. Seeing the structures is very interesting. The dome...More
