Hurricane Wilma, in 2005 dumped sand at the southern end of this sandbar, connecting it to the mainland. It has a lagoon, three miles of soft white sandy beach, shells and birds.

Shells, Starfish, birds, snails, turtles, crabs, dolphins, fish, and about a billion shells. Explore the lagoon. Relax and spend some time.

Nice beach and quiet lagoon to practice kayaking or paddleboarding. We crossed the lagoon to get to the beach and have a swim. Good for families

Large cabanas with shade and a beautiful lagoon which you can cross by foot to oceanside. One of my favorite beaches on Marco Island. Birdwatching phenomenal.

This is a great place for shelling. Found lots of sand dollars. We try to hit up this beach every time we are in Florida.

To get to the beach on the gulf side, you have to wade through a lagoon - waist high water. Once you get there it is a very nice beach.
