Been here a few times. Park up at Tigertail Carpark then wade across water to beach. Shelling is brilliant.

Parking is quite expensive...$8/day but if you want to stay only two hours, it is $3. You have to ask, they don't advertise it. The beach is very flat and on a lagoon so you have to walk quite a distance to actually get to where the beach is on the gulf. The lagoon is full of slimy weeds so... More

We enjoyed the beach once we had hiked a long way. First you park then walk a little way then you reach an inland not the beach. Wade through the inland (about knee deep) and hike through some brush then you see the ocean! It is beautiful but like the beaches in Naples better.

This is right by our condo. Can walk the beach along the gulf or inside the tiger tail. Can even walk across the water on the sand bar

Alittle hard to find, but well worth the visit. Decent size parking lot, café for snacks and drinks, bathroom facilities and plenty of water sport options. Plus you can walk across the inlet & follow a trail to another beach on the gulf! Very rewarding.

My husband and I loved this beach! We preferred it over South Beach by far. It was so peaceful and beautiful. A great place for collecting shells. It was $8 to park, unless you bought the county pass. You can also rent chairs ($8 a chair) and carry them across the lagoon onto the beach area if you don't have... More

I am not normally a beach person. The sand on this beach is cool on your feet with an expansive area sit without feeling crowded. Gulf breezes coming off the ocean will melt the days challenges off your shoulders.

If you like to take long walks along the beach Tigertail is for you! The open water beach goes on forever! A few tips before you go: 1) Before you go: Pack water shoes (not flip flops). The sand is soft, but if you want to walk in the water (especially along the edge of the shore) your feet may... More

I walked the beach to the end. Lots of great shells. Amazing views. I feel happy just thinking of this place.
