This is a very special place where birds who have been injured or are sick are nursed back to health so they can be put back in the wild, or if not have a permanent home here at the rapture center. They only take birds of prey. It was very educational, and they take the birds out to show you.... More

While it may be small, it is the cleanest place I have ever seen. Including the video, we spent about an hour there.

We've seen the sign for this before but didn't go. We went because a friend recommended it and we had really missed out by not going before. It's a bit off the beaten path but well signposted and well worth a visit. Doesn't cost a lot and discounts for over 65 and children, it's only a small place but you... More

Amazing work they do to help birds of prey in Central Florida. And the birds they have are majestic (they are birds that couldn't survive in the wild, and so they take care of them there). The kids will really LOVE it!

We stop by the Audubon Center every few years with the kids. It's a great place to spend a couple of hours and check out the birds that are being helped.

If you love birds, especially raptors, well this certainly the place for you. It is a small center with a variety of different species who have been kept there due to circumstances in which they cannot be released to the wild, and they are gorgeous, and cute. There is also a small deck to view onto the marshlands where you can... More

The Center is located on some very prime real estate. There is a lake with a gazebo and the birds are in enclosures that make you think you are in a forest. You want to take a tour because it is very educational and fun. Course the Eagles catch everyone's attention. What incredible birds of prety they are. The Center... More

If you're interested in raptors, this is the place to visit when you're in Florida. There is a variety of birds of prey to observe, and lots of interesting information to read along your walk by a scenic lake/wetland. The staff member who welcomed us was very warm and informative. I was happy to see the great work they do... More

Get away from the theme parks and get a real inside look at how Audubon manages exotic animals and how they reintroduce them into the wild.
