Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lake Osborne offers wheelchair accessible bird watching. We saw many pelicans, cormorants, anahinga, ibis and song birds. We walked a loop (beginning in the area of Cynthia Lane/Lake Osborne Dr.) around the north bulb of Lake Osborne. We also went south for a bit and returned to our starting point when we got tired. The path is paved and handicapped accessible. There are many bicyclists using the flat trail, too. There is a large playground in John Prince Park located at the very north of Lake Osborne. John Prince Park also offers ample parking if you would prefer to begin your walk there.

Great boat ramp facilities, several launch ramps to choose from. Lake Is easy to navigate and has good fishing. Park have good restrooms and plenty of parking.
Only thing bad is the access, no exit off 1-95. Make it a little difficult to get to and in and out. Otherwise very good park!

I have friends who live along this lake, so the extent of my knowing it is in proximity to their house. I noticed on Google maps that the lake goes a lot further than I realized. The park may have more to offer than I know. Anytime during the day, and even after dark, people are walking, jogging, cycling, and walking their dogs (on leashes) along the sidewalk that goes around the lake. They have benches placed at regular intervals along the walkway. There is an occasional jet-ski or small boat, but they are rare, at least on the end of the lake that I am familiar with. There is a sign along the lake's shore warning you not to stand near the shore where there is vegetation because of potential alligators.

In this very large, fresh water lake park, you will find many families picnicking here on the weekends. lots of parking, soccer games with the locals too. they just put in an outdoor 'gym' with all sorts of exercise equipment. they have a health trail with stops for individual exercises that is used by old, young, inshape/out of shape people. I think it is about 2 miles with mulch for runners. they have full water bathrooms throughout the park too. It seems safe and we have never had a problem but like most of south florida(Usually unknown to visitors), you have to watch your p's and q's and not leave valuables in your car. the police patrol this place very well but you always have to take responsibility for your own safety. you may even see an alligator or iguana sunning, so watch your small kids and dogs

Great fishing and watersports. There are small preserve areas with great wildlife present. Peaceful and serene when you just want to unwind and relax on the water.

John Prince Park has many interesting areas and good walking trails. We have seen gators and iguanas around the lakes while hiking. Two excellent jogging trails are also available. Unfortunately, county needs to keep up with the mess that newcomers are making and enforce the rules too.

This large lake is surrounded by neighborhoods.and it is the centerpiece of John Prince Park . Small watercraft were enjoying the lake when we visited, Birds were returning to warm winters in Florida and adding a new dimension to life on the lake A concrete path circles the lake and can be used by almost anyone. It is open to all with no entry fee.

Does anybody know what the clearence under the bridges are right now. How many feet I have a t-top and want to make sure I can go under them. Thanks!

I don't know exactly, but I doubt you can go under most of them. I have a bimini top on a small whaler and it barely fits.
