This small state park is well worth a visit to learn about the unique flora and fauna of central Florida. There is a small walking trail and a few picnic tables.

hard to offer 100 hundred words ///??? trails in the brush - easy to follow - and yes -- the blue jays do sit on you and eat from your hand /// well they did for us :)

and worth it, as this is natural Florida without the tourist trappings. Be still, and listen...be sure to take sunscreen, plenty of water, and don't worry about the composting toilets: that's what folks used when they came to Florida in the 1700s. Still work fine....More

This is a very nice secluded hike along the shore of Lake June, there is not a lot to see during the heat of the day, but nice in the mornings or late afternoons.
