Wanted to walk on the nearby trail and popped in here, well worth it to get a child friendly introduction to the wildlife and people’s of the green swamp that Orlando is built on. Sad to read the fate of the local Indian tribe.

This is Osceola Historic Society , part museum , part info , plenty of discount tickets, and a chance to see the beginnings of Kissimmee., volunteers not pushy sales folk.

This museum is quite a nice place to get the history of Kissimmee. We ventured there after the Osceola Pioneer Village. You can spend 1/2 hour to an hour going through it. Interesting exhibits and a lot to read and see. It doesn’t cost anything....More
