What a beautiful spot and it's so close to Kissimmee. We saw alligators, birds, an osprey feeding it's young at the nest, lizards, butterflies, dragonflies, flowers and some huge old trees. Felt like we were seeing Florida before the Europeans arrived. There is a nice...More

Our family really enjoyed the nature walk. We saw seven alligators, and a few babies. Informational visitors center was great. We'll be bringing our homeschool friends back to visit!

Worth doing the tour with school age kids. You have to go down Poinciana Blvd. almost to the border and then turn right. There are signs along the way though.

My daughter and I went for a stroll and found this hidden beauty. Some parts were closed due to floods from the rain but we walked the boardwalk taking pictures and watching the natives. Place is definitely not for someone who can not handle nature...More

Although only open to the public on most weekends, this place is worth the visit. It has an indoor museum but the real adventure is the boardwalk that goes into the woods and eventually out to Reedy Creek Swamp. Spring and Fall are the best...More

Although this can only be accessed by the public when school is not in session (weekends and holidays), it is well worth the trip. There is an environmental study building with many local animal/bird specimens to view and learn about and a butterfly garden right...More
