We tried several other beaches between Islamorada & Long Pine, and this park is in the best shape. The playground equipment was not available but our 3-year old granddaughter still enjoyed the beach — the water, building sand castles, etc. We enjoyed this beach twice...More

We visited this park on Veteran's Day 2017. The campground was closed and all but one of the beachfront shelters were closed. The playground was roped off as well, but looked like it would be a great place to play for smaller children. The beach...More

Taking into account that our visit was only a month after Irma....the beach is under significant construction with some of the pavilions roped off. The campground is shut down due to damage. But we went for 2 reasons, 1) support the keys economy 2) go...More

Through the lake and tributaries and under the mangrove curry, this is a paradise half day excursion. Everyone should do this!

Beaches are limited in the Keys, but if you catch the tide correctly, you can get a little beach time here!

Small park. Nice enough staff. Not a good swimming or snorkeling beach. Probably best to kayak it. You don't have to worry about crowds here like Bahia Honda.

The park is very nicely kept and has a beautiful picnic area with a playground, small beach area (although not great for swimming because of the grass) and one short trail to walk. The campground side has a beach with a fire ring and picnic...More

A nice state park, has a beach that is great for viewing, but not well suited for swimming. This park does have a unique and wild nature trail that is not for anyone with disabilities due to the rough limestone ground, but is not to...More

Lucked into 5 nights in July right on the ocean. Serene views from site 16, only wish the park could trim some foliage for even better views! Don't let the iguanas and large crabs bother you as they were harmless. This park is very small...More

Visited here twice during our week long stay. SEA GRASS is part of the Keys ecosystem. Deal with it or go elsewhere, please! Curry Hammock was enjoyed by our whole family. From the reasonable kayak/paddleboard rental fees to the beautiful mangroves and waters. A great...More

My husband and I have been trying to get a site for over three months now. We are either a fraction of a second early or late to reserve the site. We will keep trying, but I suspect the only way to do it is to have... More
