This is the second time we visited the Turtle Hospital but this time we were able to take the Turtle tour and meet the turtles. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and very caring of these amazing creatures.

I looked so forward to visit this place. It was so neat to learn the history of how it was established. Also, it was very informative on how they rescue and take care of the turtles.

This is a good cause so even though its a very overpriced tour, it is really the main source of income for them. They seem to get a pretty full volume of people though. Workers hit or miss as far as being genuine and friendly...More

We stopped here and we're so facinated with how much they do to help rescue the turtles. The tour takes you through the emergency room, exam room ,& out to tanks where you can feed them. Staff very friendly and informative.

Great for stop for everyone! The visit takes about 90 minutes. Totally worth it. You can get awesome pictures. Learn turtle basics, not too long and not too short.

We really enjoyed visiting here, it was a great place doing great things. It's so unfortunate that so many turtles need rescue but it's great to learn about the resources available to these creatures. It seems to me, that if you're going to visit a...More

Fascinating even after our 3rd visit to the Turtle hospital from the UK, great to see the younger family members really engaging in the marine conservation narrative and talking about plastics and the dangers of them to the ocean after our visit. Definitely on our...More

We were looking forward to this as a major highlight of our trip to the Keys and it didn't disappoint. Well worth a visit, even despite the turtles all being in hurricane tanks whilst their usual homes is cleaned and put back into working order...More

I really liked how they sat everyone down and explained the issues sea turtles face in the gulf both from predators and humans. I'm sure some eyes were opened. The tour of the facility was at times heartbreaking, but the success stories far outweighed the...More

They've got a note up now: "We heard from Richie and our staff that stayed at The Turtle Hospital and they (and the turtles) are all safe." Sounds like the area they're in is pretty damaged so they're closed to visitors at... More

If I remember correctly, there’s no free unaccompanied access. It’s a hospital, and animals there is under medical care or on rehabilitation. There is a set of very simple but crucial rules any visitor should obey, like... More
