We travel every year to KW. Some visits we ride the Harley's down Hwy 1 over the 7 mi bridge. We love this ride in good weather; however, caution others to avoid travel during heavy rain and high winds. This bridge has been one of my favorite this and least favorite things along our annual travel to KW. We are... More

Marathon on grassy key is the perfect place to be a local. No fuss and no frills. Friendly small town. Fresh local seafood and small bars. Enjoy the seven mile bridge all hours of the day. You can walk or take a jog. Beautiful place for pictures morning noon and night . Sunsets are unobstructed and breathtaking. And did I... More

We visited twice. Once for sunset and once for walking. Make sure you have water. No shade during the day. Wish we could have walked to the island and exp!ored it. It is a great experience and plenty to see!!

The parking areas at either ends of the bridge are the perfect spots to view a beautiful sunrise or sunset! Walking the bridge is not only a great way to watch the fishing boats, but a great place to see dolphins, tarpon fish and stingrays.

My wife and I love this old bridge. No better place to get a fast walk or run in. We try to use it to burn calories from prior days dinner. Plenty wide, generally dogs on leashes and not many anyway. If you watch carefully you maybe surprised w/sea life you see. We have never been down for sunset but... More

here as there is no drinking water or anyway to receive help in the tiny parking area or once you've jogged a mile. There are no means to contact anyone along the mile and 3/4 bridge if your friend is having a sudden heart attack or a stroke. Don't go if there is lightning within eyesight as the storm may... Incredibly long bridge connecting the Florida Keys. An engineering marvel. Fascinating highway. Enjoyable, scenic ride.
