This reef is awesome. Little bit of a current at times that runs east to west , but well worth it. lots of sea life to look at. We even seen a Jewfish that weighed about 400lbs hiding in a cavern.

We went to Sombrero Reef via Captain Pip's Snorkeling for the afternoon. The beautiful turquoise waters were so enjoyable on or off the boat. The reef and sea life was enjoyed by the entire family.

One must rent a boat to get to this lighthouse that is historical. Go only on a CALM waters day! You will find the waters clear as glass and easy to see the wonders of the ocean reef most clearly with fabulous colors and fish!
