The Basilica of St. Mary Star of the Sea is a Minor Basilica of the Catholic Church. Said to be the oldest catholic church in Florida. A must see.

We only visited for a short time but the church is very nice inside. There is a grotto outside and also a rosary that one can walk (one step for each prayer). Also have a nice gift shop with friendly staff.

Very nice and low key church. Very friendly too. You can go to church in shorts and nobody will criticize you.
