It's just a fun experience. We took my mom there for her first and last visit to key west before she passed away. She was a trooper going into this place even though she was afraid of butterflies . We enjoy it every time we've gone there.

We spent about an hour in the afternoon here. There are many different species of butterflies and it was fun to walk around with them in flight right next to us. There were two flamingos in residence also! In general, if you need a break in the middle of the day to get out of the sun, this is a... More

Wow! This is a great spot to see butterflies. Very impressed. Great opportunity for kids to learn about them and other things. Plan to visit again next time in Key West.

We started from Mallory Square just as a cruise ship began to unload tourists - just ahead of the crowds and madness to follow. We got up by the Southernmost Point before any real crowds got there. Then we got even luckier! Most of the parking spaces had temporary No Parking signs, which most people just past. We looked and... More

So incredibly peaceful. Loved the gentle music playing in the conservatory with the sounds of the birds and babbling water.

There are two adjacent gift shops as you enter with lots of cute gifts and EVERYTHING butterfly. It all seemed reasonably priced. Regular admission is $12/pp and worth it; discounts are available. We stayed there about an hour, but you're free to come and go as much as you want for the day. Once you walk through the conservatory, you're... More

This is a hidden gem in Key west. The beauty and variety of butterflys, and birds is just awesome. Loved the pair of flamingos that put on a song and dance for us! Just a beautiful place to visit.

A must see while in Key West. Butterfly's, birds, tropical plants and flamingos. Great for young and old. Ticket good for all day. If you like photography (or not) stop in.
